Local birders, deep roots.
Goabirding is an independent, Goan-owned tour company. For over two decades we've been showing birders — from first-time enthusiasts to seasoned professionals — the very best of Goa's wild corners.
Twenty years afield, one obsession.
Goabirding was born on the trails of Bondla and the mud-flats of Carambolim. What began as one guide walking friends through his favourite forests has grown into a small, tight team of Goan naturalists dedicated to sharing the region's extraordinary avian diversity.
We keep groups small, itineraries personal, and every trip built around the species you want to see. No coach tours. No fixed circuits. Just quiet dawns, the right ears in the canopy, and the local knowledge that comes from a lifetime on Goan trails.
Beyond Goa, our routes extend into Karnataka and Maharashtra — the Western Ghats in every season, from wet monsoon forests to dry deciduous plateaus.

Reuben Pereira
Lead Bird Naturalist · Founder · Local Goan
Reuben Pereira has spent more than two decades tracking birds across the length of Goa — from the tidal creeks of the Zuari to the deep evergreen valleys of Mhadei and Netravali. Born and raised in Goa, he knows the roosts, the calls, and the seasons in a way only a lifelong local can.
He has guided professional ornithologists, wildlife photographers, National Geographic contributors, and hundreds of amateur birders from every continent. His trips are unhurried, informed, and endlessly patient.
