Booking terms.

By booking a trip with Goabirding you agree to the following terms. These are written in plain English — please read them before confirming your trip.

1. Bookings & confirmation

A trip is confirmed once we have agreed the dates, itinerary and price with you in writing (email or WhatsApp) and received any deposit requested. Prices are quoted per person unless stated otherwise.

2. Payment

Standard bookings require a modest deposit to reserve dates; the balance is payable before the trip begins. Multi-day trips involving lodges may require earlier settlement to cover accommodation bookings.

3. Cancellation

Cancellations made more than 14 days before the trip are refunded in full, less any non-recoverable lodge or permit fees. Within 14 days we retain the deposit; within 48 hours the full trip amount may apply. We are always willing to reschedule wherever possible.

4. Weather, wildlife & the unexpected

We work outdoors. Rain, sanctuary closures, road diversions and — occasionally — the birds themselves may require us to adjust plans on the day. We will always do our best to deliver the intended experience or a suitable alternative.

5. Health, safety & conduct

Please share any medical conditions, allergies or mobility needs when booking. We expect guests to follow our guides' instructions in sanctuaries, respect wildlife, and refrain from behaviour that disturbs birds, habitat or other visitors.

6. Insurance

Guests are responsible for their own travel and medical insurance. We strongly recommend cover that includes trip cancellation, medical evacuation and equipment.

7. Liability

Goabirding acts as an organiser and guide. We are not liable for loss or injury caused by circumstances outside our control (weather, third-party providers, government restrictions, personal illness, etc.).

8. Photography

Photos taken during trips may occasionally be used on our website or social channels — see our Privacy Policy. Guest-taken photos remain the property of the guest.

9. Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India and any disputes will be handled in the courts of Goa.
